Magnolia Table
The flagship restaurant of Chip and Joanna Gaines’ empire is not only gorgeous, but it’s also a great place to get your morning (or lunch or dinner) texas travel. Featuring plenty of black and white shiplap, lots of wrought iron details and tons of natural light, the restaurant is truly stunning. The menu offers everything from savory dishes to sweet treats, including fresh fruit, eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and French toast.
Slow Rise on the Brazos
This popular local chain recently opened a second location and it’s UH-MAZING! Located in the Woodway area, this spot shares a building with Common Grounds Waco (one of our favorite coffee shops in town) and has a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. They even have a few giant tractor-size tires that the kids love to play on (for some reason).
For breakfast, we highly recommend trying their Homestead Breakfast; eggs, herbed potatoes and beef sausage served on a flaky biscuit. If you’re craving a sweet treat, their blue corn waffle is delicious.
